Four days highlight program
 
This year’s program highlights are e.g. the DAV Boulder Cup, the Climbing Movie Night presented by Hybryda Films, the Outdoor Fashion Show and the SOG ispo get-together.
Within branch-specific presentations and discussions the summit imparts things to know about trends and issues of the branch. Priorities at the snow ice & rock summit 09 – presented by Marmot are:

• Outdoor Tourism – Alpine Pearls
• Target group Active Kids
• Workshop „Membranes – the key to functional clothing“
• Workshop Outdoor Shoes
• Mountaineering (ski mountaineering) - risk, responsibility & personal freedom  

Adventure reports of selected characters of the ski and outdoor scene guarantee pure excitement. Free skiing pro Seb Garhammer talks about his eventful life and Joachim Franz (initiator of the “World Aids Awareness Expedition”) presents his newest expedition. The absolute highlight will be Stefan Glowacz’s adventure report - presented by Marmot - about his expedition to Baffin Island.
 
During selected films about the white sport it’s getting emotional: Film highlights will be “Wings on their feet" (presented by Kendal Mountain Festival), "Telemark 1" (presented by Extreme Explorations) and the headliner of the European Outdoor Film Tour 08/09 “Expedition Manaslu”.
 
From physical peak performances at the boulders of the DAV Boulder Cup to industry-related presentations, the Outdoor Fashion Show, the ispo Scandinavian Get-Together, there are lots of things to discover at the snow ice & rock summit 09 – presented by Marmot.
