Runner`s World Action Point - Meeting point for athletes
The “Runner’s Wold Action Point” in hall C3 has plenty to offer. For the duration of four days the treadmills will not stop running. Top athletes such as Julia Viellehner (German cross-running athlete) and Timo Bracht (triathlete), expert panels, as well as the “Heartrate Summit”, where leading manufacturers will present the latest heart rate monitors, will provide plenty of “motion”.
Runner’s World Action Point welcomes a new partner: Garmin. A
special program highlight is the presentation of the new ispo
certification project on the second day of the trade fair at 5 pm. In
cooperation with “sportsella”, ispo offers sports retailers
a new certification. In plain English: ispo certification is a quality seal for the retailer and
provides the foundation for a consistently high level of consultation
competence of the store’s sales staff. The program also includes
a get-together for retailers and exhibitors. Visitors and exhibitors
are welcome to attend the presentation.
Garmin follows a new path
As presenter of the Runner’s World Action Point Garmin is located in a central spot in Running hall C3, and presents innovations in GPS navigation for the running, cycling, and outdoor segments. By participating in ispo, Garmin, the navigation specialist for automotive, outdoor and sports, marine, as well as aerospace applications, clearly signals that the importance of GPS navigation will increase for the athletic segment.
